Ann’s Balloons and Flowers is a full-service florist located in Birmingham, Alabama. We want to be your perfect solution to making a big impression with any gift or event! With over 27 years of experience, we are especially known for our on-site balloon decorating services.
Our Story:
Ann’s Balloons & Flowers has been in business since 1983. Ann and Wes White first began their business as one of the first discounted toy stores in Birmingham. When Mylar balloons first came on the market, the White’s decided to attach a balloon to each toy that was sold from their store. They thought the balloons might sell for Valentine’s Day gifts, so they ordered a whopping 25 balloons the first year, which sold out in the first hour. It didn’t take long for customers to request balloons with flowers, which is the story of how Ann’s Balloons & Flowers blossomed into business.
When it came time for Ann & Wes to retire, Sally Hurst wanted to keep up the family tradition. Under their training and guidance, Sally learned the art of balloon and flower decoration and hopes to continue to grow the business they developed so many years ago.

Calling us directly with your order means you will get 100% of the value for what you pay. A national company will keep about 25% of your total bill, send the order out to any florist willing to fulfill the order and that means your getting about 75% of what you paid for!
Ann’s Balloons & Flowers helps local schools and universities celebrate games, homecomings, pageants, proms and every special event in style! As a way of giving back to our community, we give school sponsored events a special price break.

We are proud to have provided annual decorating events hosted by ESPN, Southwest Airlines, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham and WorkPlay – just to name a few.
